How does pricing work?

We have a $400 minimum for small-scale projects, $500 minimum for accent wall installations, $900 minimum for bathroom installations, $1,500 for bedroom installations.

The following are ballpark figures for smooth vertical walls. Every project is unique, and pricing may vary based on surface conditions, wallpaper material, pattern types, obstacles and other project complexities.

Installation – Professional wallcovering installation on standard smooth walls per square foot: •standard/paperback/vinyl/non-woven $4, •natural grasscloth $5.00, •aluminum layered grasscloth $5.50, •silk $6, •aluminum layered silk $6.50, •hand painted silk $7, •backless fabrics $8, •gold foil $9, •beaded $9.50, •shells $10.

Wall Preparation – Per square foot •$2.00-$3.00 ($200 minimum)
Includes priming/sizing and correcting minor surface imperfections.

Additional Charges For Installation, removal and/or preparation – Per square foot •walls above 10 feet +$0.25-$____, •sequential/multi-paneled murals, intricate designs/patterns, roll widths shorter than 20” or wider than 54” +$0.25-$3, •jobs in high-rises or gated areas with limited parking and/or limited working hours +$0.50-$1.50, •jobs outside our service area +$0.50-$____, other project complexities like windows, doors, lights, furniture, mirrors, artwork transition points, arches, tight or difficult to reach areas +$0.25-$___.

Materials/Expenses – Per square foot •$0.50-$1.00 ($150 minimum)
Includes adhesives, primers, and other necessary sundries/consumables. Additional materials may be needed for certain areas.

Removal – Per square foot •$2.00-$4.00 ($200 minimum)

Removal Materials – Per square foot •$0.25-$0.50

Once you’ve selected your wallpaper—or narrowed it down to a few options—we’ll schedule a site visit to take measurements. After that appointment, we’ll let you know exactly how much wallpaper is needed and provide a detailed proposal for the installation (please allow up to three business days for the proposal).

For smaller projects, such as a single accent wall, we’re happy to provide an estimate remotely. Simply send us clear photos and measurements, and we’ll let you know how much paper you’ll need along with an estimated cost.

When your wallpaper arrives—or you receive a delivery estimate—reach out to us and we’ll schedule your installation.

  • Dimensions

    Naturally, the size of your space will dictate installation costs. We take the height of your ceilings into consideration as well, in addition to the time it will take to cut around windows, doors, and other fixed design elements.

  • Type of Paper

    Some papers are easier to work with than others. Silks, certain grasscloths, and heavily textured wall coverings take more time and care to install. This will be reflected in our pricing.

  • Wall Texture

    If walls are smooth (a level 5 finish) and undamaged, we can start the installation process right away. If the walls are already papered or have some texture, this will require more preparation work, so we charge accordingly.

  • Other Factors

    Your estimate may also reflect miscellaneous factors such as ease of access to the space and travel distance. We will make sure to be very clear about these when we give an estimate.
